We are starting 2026 with several major updates to our municipal bond data and APIs.
Municipal official statements
The biggest update is the release of our municipal documents endpoint, /muni_documents, allowing API users
to retrieve official statements, addendums and supplements by ISIN for any of the 1.4 million municipal
securities available on our database.
This allows platforms, asset managers and hedge funds to quickly access the source document within their systems, show them to clients, or put together a library to perform analysis and research.

Other municipal reference data updates
Over the past few weeks we have released a number of smaller quality of life updates to our municipal reference data, in order to improve exploration, readability and usability:
- Series names are now better formatted and capitalized;

When using the
issuer_nameparameter on the/muni_searchendpoint, the entity search now matches not just the issuer but also the conduit obligor when one exists, for better search by obligor; - Issuer names and obligor formatting and homogenization improvements, ahead of the release of our full entity master.
